2010 was a lazy year for me. I tried to limit my spending, and in so doing limited my projects and ambitions. It was still a good year, with plenty of new and interesting things to add to my life, but it definitely felt lazy. So for 2011 I'm hoping to ramp up the projects, and get some stuff done.
To start that off, Jacki and I built a shed today. I've been thinking about a shed for a while, and finally I broke down and bought one yesterday from Lowe's. It's 10 ft X 12ft, and it should hold everything that clutters up my porch and closets (crosses fingers). It took us pretty much all day, and a couple of re-dos but we got it down before the sun set, which was my goal. I still have to get some white gravel and go around the outside and fill in the interior of the shed, but all the pieces that came in the box got put together. I'll post some pictures after it's light enough to take them tomorrow.
Aside from the shed, my other projects for 2011 include:
Screening in my patio
Start playing the guitar,banjo,mandolin, and fiddle again
Make it to at least 2 Magic the Gathering events each month
Building up my tools for my home repair shop
and trying to Blog at least once a week, so people up home know what's going on (that's you Aunt Lanny) : )
